A relationship which begins on campus

Jeunes diplômésCrédit Agricole’s Graduate policy is directed at the recruitment of contracted trainees. We entrust these young people with a real-world project in one of our key departments; the mission is discussed in detail during recruitment interviews. Experience shows that a hands-on internship is the ideal springboard to a long-term professional relationship, so for 6 to 12 months trainees are fully integrated into one of our teams.

VIE: the map to the world of international finance

Crédit Agricole offers young people attracted to banking and in search of valuable international experience the chance of a 12- to 24-months mission with a branch abroad, notably Crédit Agricole Luxembourg (CAL). This internship comes under the “Volontariat International en Entreprise” (VIE). Whatever your nationality, French or Belgian, Spanish, Italian… it applies to you: it is open to any EU citizen under 28. Luxembourg, a capital city and cosmopolitan financial centre, multilingual and multicultural, is the ideal setting for this enriching personal and professional experience.

Who are we looking for?

CAL recruits recent university and business school graduates who are interested in the international banking world. As our working language is French, an excellent level of French is a criteria. Candidates will have excellent speaking and listening skills. Rigour, a sense of professionalism and above all high motivation will reflect the trust and responsibility which are accorded to them.

The "Volontariat International en Entreprise" is organized by UBIFRANCE, the French agency for international business development. Successful candidates are looked after by the French authorities, by the parent company and of course by the department taking them on. Our VIE trainees benefit from exactly the same integration programme called “Welcome” available to our permanent employees.
