Registered under Luxembourg law with a capital of EUR 12.5 million, Crédit Agricole Luxembourg Conseil is wholly owned by Crédit Agricole Luxembourg. CAL Conseil is a professional in the financial sector, bound by banking secrecy and subject to the supervisory authority of the CSSF.

Crédit Agricole Luxembourg Conseil was set up on 7 May 2001, when the asset and financial engineering and agency services handled by Crédit Agricole Luxembourg for over 30 years were transferred to a subsidiary.

The task of Crédit Agricole Luxembourg Conseil is to devise, set up and manage structures or operations designed to protect, optimize and manage assets, including inheritance planning for professional and private as well as liquid and non-cash assets.

Through its subsidiary, Crédit Agricole Luxembourg Conseil, the Bank offers a global solution to financial and asset engineering, as well as trust services and financial ‘family office’ services.

  • By taking account of nationality and all the legal, fiscal and financial implications it entails for the Bank’s customers, Crédit Agricole Luxembourg Conseil is able to pick the most appropriate vehicle or mechanism from a selection of platforms as varied as :

    • Holding liquid assets (portfolio of stocks and bonds) or non-liquid assets (holdings, property, hotels, yachts, aircraft, etc.)
    • Re-structuring a family business prior to sale or stock-market listing
    • Corporate assignments or takeovers
    • Inheritance planning, tax optimization and residence planning
    • Optimized treasury management and shareholder distributions
